Subject AC: SUPERSTAR Callsign: Soul Luca Sinclaire, callsign "Soul", growing up, was more entertained by footage of Armored Cores in combat than he was entertained by any Saturday morning cartoons. He has wanted to pilot an AC since before he even knew how to spell the words "Armored Core Pilot", and sprang at the first possible opportunity to get into the cockpit and join the "World of the Giants" that he had been fantasizing about all his life, fighting for the Rubicon Liberation Front. However, not long after he had finally achieved his childhood dream, he stopped romanticizing the career path he had chosen. Whether it was the impossible odds of fighting off Balam, Arquebus, and the PCA all at once, or if it was his 10th generation augmentation affecting his brain, or if it was just adulthood setting in. At this point, it hardly makes a difference. Soul continues to pilot SUPERSTAR, no longer out of a personal desire to become a pilot, but rather out of obligation to the Rubicon Liberation Front that he feels bent over backwards to grant him the opportunity, as well as out of spite and hatred for the Corporations and PCA that were ruining his home. He outwardly expresses his hatred for these groups, with their logos painted onto his AC's left arm, and the Japanese kanji for "death" painted over all three of them; a piece of trivia that he learned from Rokumonsen. While Soul's passion for piloting has been dulled, his combat style remains flashy; likely due to muscle memory. His inner childlike wonder can still be drawn out on occasion, by any opportunity to utilize the Vvc-74LS Laser Slicer that presents itself to him, or by watching others also use the stylish melee weapon. His choice of melee weapon was directly inspired by top-ranking mercenaries and pilots like V.IV Rusty, Cursed Princess, and Royal.
